Mariusz Maksel graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Faculty of Fine Arts in Cieszyn. Currently, he is continuing his creative work with a focus on painting. In his works he often captures the atmosphere of loneliness, mystery and melancholy of urban streets. The buildings, streets and human figures depicted in his paintings can be interpreted as symbols of everyday life, alienation or the hustle and bustle of city life.
